Practice Production Process

The main production process in its broadest sense is described as follows:
Information is received from the client. If in written form it is scanned and filed on computer. It is analysed and considered. Work is begun on computer to begin a design or manipulate the information provided. Once this is manipulated to a degree where the person is happy that sufficient information is available to discuss further with the client and/or inform the client, documents are either e-mailed or printed and posted to the client prior to a scheduled meeting. This process continues until the information/design is at a stage that the client is happy with the result. This general process continues throughout all stages of projects, obviously differing at later stages if consultants are involved etc. At all times Quad & Octo processor high end Graphic workstations (by Apple Inc) will be used. In general all documents will be scanned and filed electronically only. Ditto for drawings. If a copy map is requested, one will be printed or e-mailed. All large format drawings will be scanned also. All work is BIM based!
Distribution /Service Delivery
To reduce environmental impact drawings and documents are predominately distributed by e-mail digitally. However in a minority of cases including the submission of statuary applications they are issued on paper and sent by post/courier.
If you think we can help you please contact us to arrange a free consultation in Dublin or Kilkenny.
